Singh’s works also won Good Design Award (G-mark) from Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO) and Design Excellence Award (Demark) from Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce in 2009-2012. His works received Thai Creative Awards 2011 from Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD), Kasetsart University Innovation Award 2013-2014 (Top Prize) as well as Silver Prize Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction 2011 (Asia Region) from Holcim Foundation (Switzerland).
OUTDOOR FURNITURE
uPVC furniture was the replacement material developed to replace the use of natural resource like woods, uPVC in long-term is much stable than real woods. It will not loose its shape even the product was placed in the unstable temperature area.
Invention and development of uPVC outdoor furniture also based on the study of weaknesses of woods and aluminums e.g. uPVC is not a temperature insulation material, fire retard (self extinguished), etc.
